The one-on-one teach-back session provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate and elevate your competence and comfort training others on the Decision Making tool. The Decision Making Trainer Certificate Rubric Guide, provided as a part of the course, highlights the standards within each section of the Decision Making tool that a trainer must meet to earn a Trainer Authorization in the tool. The list below, however, outlines what to expect from the teach-back session itself.

1. A relaxed, supportive environment

• No interrogation lamps, trick questions, or calculus—just a one-on-one virtual meeting with a Corentus Evaluator who wants you to crush it
• The teach-back will be recorded, for possible review after the session, but will then be deleted

2. A couple of microlessons

• Your evaluator will select a microtool and ask you to teach it, role-playing with them as your engaged and ever-curious audience
• No Method acting required—simply deliver content, ask and answer questions, and provide instructions as you would with a client team or group of trainees

3. Feedback and authorization determination

• Your evaluator will share feedback and provide official teach-back results and authorization determination within 48 hours of the session’s end
